Kids School Holidays Card Classes at Di's Scrapbook Shop at The Entrance

Hi everyone. Just thought I would let you all know that during the school holidays on Wednesday 28th September & Wednesday 5th October from 2pm to 4pm we are holding  "KIDS" Card Making Classes. Cost is only $24 & this includes everything. These are the three cards they will make. Jan Rankine whipped these up today. Awesome job Jan. Love them & I am sure all the young card makers will too.  They will get to use stamps, paper punches, Cuttlebug machine, lots of glitter & bling (little girls just love to use glitter & bling) & more. Ring the shop on 02-43344451 early to book as I think these two classes will fill up fast. Until next time.    Cheers Di  xx

This card is a Flower Pot that they will decorate with all sorts of goodies. It is also a free standing card. Really cute I think.

This card the girls will decorate with all manner of paper punches, bling, glitter & more.

Lastly we thought we would throw in a Christmas Card. On this one they will get to use stamps which they will cut out & again use glitter. Lots of fun. Pin It Now!

"Life Is So Much Fun" by Di Garling

Hello everyone. Today we thought we would share this cute little kid page with you. The papers & embellishments are Bo Bunny. All the circles I punched out of cardstock, every single one of them. Boy there were lots of them, but I think it was worth it as I am happy how it turned out. Hope you like it. Until next time. Cheers Di  xx

3D Frame by Jan Rankine

Hi everyone. Sorry it has been a while since my last post, but lots of things have been happening. I have been on a little holiday, then I got sick & lots of other things too. Anyway enough of all that. Good news is that Jan & I have decided to combine & join forces on the one blog from now on. For those of you that don't know Jan, she works with me at my shop on our Design Team as well as teaching classes there, she also works on the retail side of things also, as well as everything else that needs doing!!! She is my right hand person & general all rounder so it only seemed natural that we come together on this blog.

This 3D frame that Jan has done is from Twiddleybitz,  comes in "flat pack" so you assemble it yourself & then decorate it to suit your decor. It is made to suit a standard 12"X 12" scrapbook page perfectly. Great gift for someone special. They are also great to hang up & showcase your current favourite page in. When you do a new favourite you take the old page out & pop in the new one. The perfect way to showcase your scrapbooking. We have these for sale in my shop, Di's Scrapbooks at The Entrance NSW. We can also mail one out to you if you don't live local.
We thought if we had enough interest in these great 3D frames that we might do a workshop class on them in about 3 to 4 weeks time. If you would be interested in coming along,
ring me at the shop on 02-43344451
or
email me    vgarling@bigpond.net.au.
& let me know what you think.

Until next time.   Cheers Di  xxPS. Pin It Now!

Big Changes For Our Blog

As of today both Jan Rankine & myself are joining forces on  the one blog. Instead of this blog just being mine, from now on it is going to be a joint blog featuring both Jan's & my work. If you are one of Jan's "Followers" from her previous blog, pleeeeeeease  make sure you remember to also be a "Follower" on this one.

August Card Classes

Hello everyone. This week I thought I would show the cards we are making this month in our Card Classes at my shop at The Entrance. I have chosen this pink & white theme this month as I am so sick of drab winter colours. I can feel spring fast approaching. We are using some of the NEW release Green Tara ribbons, some of their yummy flowers & some NEW punches. We still have a couple of places left so if you would like to come along & join in the fun, ring to book in early on 02-43344451. Alternatively if you don't live nearby, we can also make these up in a kit & post them to you. Until next week.    Cheers Di  xx Pin It Now!

"Our Sweet Girl"

Hi everyone. I thought I would show you another page I did for a challenge. The challenge was black background with pink & pearls. I so had to use this photo. As you can see by the look on her face, she has  had enough of having her picture taken. Actually she is having a major meltdown, hence the red eyes. I am so glad the photographer kept on snapping. I really think this is one of those "life moments". Totally real. Anyway thanks for looking.
Until next time.         Cheers Di  xx Pin It Now!
