Some Cards to ShareANDPage of the Month WINNER

Back again. I just realised that I never showed you all our cards from this months Card Classes. It has been so busy this month, what with our Birthday Sale, Classes, lots of Design Team work etc that my poor little blog has been a bit neglected!!! 

Loved this months colours. We used lots of gorgeous Green Tara Ribbons & flowers as well as making some little hand made ones & we used some yummy 2 Crafty Chipboard Butterflies. 2 Crafty make a huge range of chipboard miniatures especially for both cards & ATC's. We have a large range of these in our shop over at The Entrance. They just make card making soooo easy.

Jan did a fantastic job on her chipboard frame creating all this lovely texture. Again so many beautiful details.

Thank you to both  Ann & Jan & to all the other girls who entered our monthly competition. All the entries were truly amazing, what these girls did was nothing short of FANTASTIC!!!

This is the standard of work that our students produce. We are surrounded by some very talented people.

"Fun Times"

 Hi everyone. Today I thought I would show you a layout that I did recently that was published in last months "Scrapbooking Memories" magazine, Vol.14 No.8. I was really pleased how it turned out. I have used a
2 Crafty 12'x12" Nested Cogs set.  You get heaps of different size cogs all on the one sheet. I have also used the 2 Crafty chipboard Chicken Wire too. We sell all of these & heaps more  2 Crafty chipboard goodies at my shop at The Entrance. We have eighty  plus pages on display on the walls of our shop at any given time. Yeah!!!! My Great News

Hi everyone, I have been dying to share my great news with you all. It has just been announced over at the 2 Crafty blog. I have been asked to not only stay on for another term on their  Design Team, but I have also been appointed
"Design Team Co-Ordinator". Whoo Hoo!!!!!
 The NEW Design Team starts on 1st August & they have really got some amazingly talented girls from both Australia & abroard. Pop over to their blog & check it all out. I really think you are in for some wonderful inspiration from these ladies.

Entries for this Months"Page of the Month" Competition

This month I was soooo impressed with the entries in our monthly "Page of the Month" Competition  I just had to share them with you. There were seven that have not come back yet but I couldn't wait any longer, sorry girls but we just had to start the voting & putting them on display. This months kit comprised of a

12" Page Frame + A  Phrase "Mothers are a Special Kind of Friend" + Pair of Corners

 all from 2 Crafty Chipboard of course. The girls all had the same kit & then they could add  whatever else they liked & I have to say they all look amazing. These are all on display in our shop at The Entrance.

I have also used a stencil to create the little brick wall, done some misting, done some sewing, lots of distressing threw in some yummy Green Tara flowers, & hey presto, all finished. A Layout by One of My Students

 Just thought I would share a layout one of my students, Jenny Graham did in class last Friday. I think she has done such a great job I thought it would be nice to show everyone. Jenny has used one of the 

"Dusty Attic" doors that I spoke about the other week. We stock these & other similar ones at our shop at The Entrance. Jenny has given it a great woodgrain effect as well as doing a lot of gorgeous NEW techniques, she learnt in the class, to create her fabulous  background. Jenny has used a great little 

2 Crafty chipboard Word & Mini Frame as well as lots of beautiful Green Tara flowers.

"Page of the Month" Due In &Stock Update

"PAGE OF THE MONTH"

Hello everyone, hope you have all had a great week. I just wanted to remind you all that our "Page of the Month" entries were due in this week, but we are still waiting on a few stragglers!!! Nothing changes hey. I have to say that this month is without a doubt, the absolute BEST entries we have ever had. Next week I will photograph them all, individually, & post them all on the blog. Wait until you see what the girls have done, they all look really incredible!! Fabulous work. So if you want to be in the voting & eligible for the $25 prize I will extend the deadline to Tuesday, but then I will post them on the blog & start the voting, so come on girls, make that extra effort to get them in.

"STOCK UPDATE"

This week we received another big order of 2 Crafty chipboard. Lots of top ups of all our favourites as well as some NEW things.

I had it all laid out on the carpet to unpack & price it all & I took this photo. It looks like it goes on forever!!! It seemed like forever to get it all unpacked & priced etc. We got several beautiful NEW  flourishes, some great Kid pieces, loads of great Words & Phrases  as well as some more Miniatures in chip for both Cards & ATC's. I think I told you last week that          2 Crafty does a fabulous range of chipboard especially for cards etc. They are all little mini pieces that are just perfect for both Cards & ATC's.

Sorry these pics are not the best, but it is really hard not to get reflection on the cellophane packs!!

This week we also got a top up order from our favourite Green Tara who make the most delicious flowers, ribbons & laces. This is just a sampling.
